Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will be directly responsible for on site operations, including programming, coordination of all subcontractors, and logistics management.\nThe key responsibilities of this position include:\nProactively drive company safety, environment and quality policies, practices and procedures in compliance with Management Plans and OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.\nCoordinate all construction activities on and off site and ensuring that all conditions and regulations are complied with.\nCall and chair site co-ordination meetings of subcontractors, suppliers and members of the design team, as required, to discuss progress, co-ordination, work practices and other relevant details to ensure a timely and professional construction progress.\nReview the construction programme with the programming department, re-sequencing of the programme as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.\nEnsure that the project is constructed in accordance with the contract documents, and be accountable for the on-site delivery of the technical component of the subcontractor scope of works.\n The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:\nDegree/Diploma in building/construction, or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field.\nDemonstrated experience in delivering large building projects for a principal contractor.\nAbility to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.\nDemonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.\nProven ability to build and lead an effective results driven team.\n Along with a competitive remuneration package and long-term career development opportunities, our employees enjoy access to the following benefits:\nWellbeing Days - three additional leave days per year.\nAwards and Recognition Program, rewarding employees who bring our values to life.\nAccess to a wellbeing program including annual skin checks and flu vaccinations.\nSocial events and Family Days.\nAt BESIX Watpac, we are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone is valued, supported and respected.
