With international hubs located in Australia, Europe, and the Middle East, we are united by one common purpose - we excel in creating sustainable solutions for a better world.\n BESIX Watpac are seeking an experienced Services Manager to manage the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of building services on a large scale project in South Australia.\nThe key responsibilities of this position include:\nProactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.\nManage the design of Building Services documentation packages across the project, including Mechanical, Electrical, Security, ICT and Hydraulic.\nWork closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the developing documentation meets the required specification, cost budgets and programme for construction works.\nOversee coordination and review all documentation for adequacy of design input.\nParticipate in the selection of subcontractors.\nMonitor progress and quality of services installation and commissioning, and participate in the final handover of the project.\n The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:\nQualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical or hydraulic services) together with solid industry experience.\nDemonstrated experience working on large-scale projects, managing complex building services packages (mechanical, electrical, communication/ICT/BMS and hydraulic).\nExperience managing complex integrated systems.\nExperience with the installation, maintenance and testing of essential and advanced building services, including Mechanical, Electrical, Security & ICT as well as Hydraulic.\nSound understanding and application of statutory legislation including knowledge of the OHS Act, Building Code of Australia and the relevant services Australian Standards.\nDemonstrated leadership skills through development of effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\n Along with a competitive remuneration package and long-term career development opportunities, our employees enjoy access to the following benefits:\nWellbeing Days - three additional leave days per year.\nAwards and Recognition Program, rewarding employees who bring our values to life.\nAccess to a wellbeing program including annual skin checks and flu vaccinations.\nCorporate discounts to gym memberships, meal subscriptions and more.\nSocial events and Family Days.\nAt BESIX Watpac, we are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone is valued, supported and respected.
