Learn more at fleetworthy.com.\nResponsibilities\nLeading Team and projects \nCollaborate with product team on technical feasibility and story breakdown \nDesign, develop, and maintain web applications using Django and FastAPI \nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs \nImplement scalable ETL/data transformation workflows using Databricks or similar platforms \nWrite efficient and well-structured SQL, and manage PostgreSQL database schemas \nDevelop and execute unit tests, and participate in writing integration and end-to-end tests \nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues across the stack \nEnsure code quality through automated testing and code reviews \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and business logic \nCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members \nProvide guidance to junior developers \n Requirements\nSenior-level full stack developer with Dev Lead Experience \nStrong interactive communication skills - speaking live with others is extremely important for this role \nAdvanced skills with Python \nExperience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI \nExperience with REST APIs \nExperience building data pipelines and ETL processes with tools like Databricks \nProficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript \nProficient in SQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization \nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills \nExperience with unit testing, test-driven development, and frameworks such as pytest \nFamiliarity with version control in a Git-based system (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket) \nFamiliarity with build pipelines, e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, BitBucket, Azure DevOps \nFamiliarity with software ticketing systems or processes, e.g., Jira, Solar, ServiceNow \nWillingness to spend a significant portion of onboarding - and perhaps ongoing time - in collaborative team programming settings \n Preferences\nExperience with Redis for caching and queuing \nGraphQL API design and integration \nExperience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes \nFamiliarity with cloud platform services such as Azure or AWS \nExperience with geospatial data and functions (e.g., Geocoding API, H3 grid system, PostGIS) \nExperience with observability tools (Grafana, Datadog) and comfort working from traces, logs, and metrics \nFleetworthy is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture that is respectful and welcoming of individual differences.
