As a forward-thinking company, we’re breaking new ground in software innovation too, redefining what’s possible for our customers worldwide.\n As a Regulatory Data Team Leader, you will lead a cross-functional team in the delivery of regulatory reporting software solutions.\nThe Data Engineering department is responsible for writing software and reporting systems to communicate jurisdiction-specific information to international regulators. They are developed to high standards, tuned for performance and reliability with low tolerances for error.\nWe're using an architecture that includes high-throughput, database-centric distributed applications, that supports batch reporting, integrates with SOAP and REST APIs, and features Windows and web services, as well as web applications.\nYou will be responsible for ensuring the team's output meets stringent regulatory reporting requirements while upholding high standards of technical design.\nThis role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working policy.\n Strong experience with GCP and BigQuery, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud architecture.\nExperience working with various AI tools to enhance workflows and processes, demonstrating a practical application of AI in projects.\nExperience of leading a geographically distributed software delivery team.\nHighly organised and adaptable; adept at prioritisation, delivery, and driving efficiency in a high-throughput and fast-paced environment.\nMaintain a positive outlook whilst adapting to rapidly changing requirements.\nExperience of driving collaboration across key stakeholders to ensure requirements are clarified, solution designs are produced and implemented within the required timeframes.\nStart up mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate teams.\nExperience in the design and implementation of software solutions within a cloud architecture would be advantageous.\nExperience of working within a regulatory or commercial gambling environment.\nCommercial database development experience coupled with optimisation skills, using SQL Server 2014 or later, T-SQL, or BigQuery and GoogleSQL.\n Managing team performance; providing mentoring and coaching and supporting development goals.\nSupporting the technical lead and the team in adopting AI solutions to enhance workflows and reporting capabilities.\nEnsuring governance is in place so that the output of the team meets regulatory reporting requirements whilst adhering to best design practices.\nOwning the delivery of reporting solutions to meet regulatory requirements.\nCollaborating with the Finance and Compliance departments and other stakeholders as necessary to prioritise the delivery of work.\nOverseeing risks, issues, and external team dependencies through to completion.\nIdentifying and implementing improvements to working practices, processes, and deliverables to support the efficient delivery of high-quality software.\nEncouraging a collaborative, respectful, and supportive working environment.\nProviding management with status updates of team deliveries and activities, and escalating issues that risk the timely delivery of project milestones.\nGaining an understanding of the existing regulatory reporting systems; both the regulatory requirements and the interpretations which have been implemented.\nBy applying to us you are agreeing to share your Personal Data in accordance with our Recruitment Privacy Notice - https://www.bet365careers.com/privacy-policy\nAt bet365, we're committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued.
