Title: Finance Manager\n\nJob ID: 0113\n\nLocation: Agbara, Ogun\n\nJob Purpose\n\n Ensure effective execution of all financial and accounting activities in compliance with international, national and group standards.\n\n Regularly monitor and report the company’s financial status, while providing timely Information Technology (IT) solutions that support operational efficiency and business needs. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Manage and control financial activities to ensure conformity with company’s guidelines, legal regulations and accounting standards.\n\n Coordinate and prepare the annual budget proposal, facilitate the operational and financial commitments of the plant by monitoring the results and proposing corrective actions.\n\n Coordinate the preparation of the monthly report to provide timely, accurate financial analysis information and support the decision making of the management team.\n\n Identify training needs and support employee development through training programs.\n\n Review the trial balance constantly to ensure that wrong postings are minimized.\n\n Trouble shooting of key account codes in the ledger to ensure correctness of posting.\n\n Creation of new account code on Navision to ensure proper classification and consistency \n\n Oversee the IT department to ensure that technical support is always provided to all users\n\n Ensure reliable IT system operation and maintenance to support company needs.\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Economics or a related field.\n\nExperience:\n\n Minimum of 12 years’ experience. \n\n Strong accounting knowledge.\n\n Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.\n\n Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.\n\nThe person must have:\n\n Professional certification (e.g., ICAN or equivalent accounting qualification).\n\n Leadership, creativity and accountability abilities. \n\n
