The Airport Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing development and construction projects from conception to completion. This includes permitting, FAA approvals, budget tracking, contracting, scheduling, utility coordination, construction management, and ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standard of quality and within established timelines. The successful candidate will work closely across the BETA Charge team, external architects and engineers, as well as multiple subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.\nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nManage on airport installation of dedicated electric aviation Ground Support Equipment including charging, battery conditioning and related dedicated aviation facilities.\nCreate and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.\nPrepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness and target margins.\nDirect project team meetings to communicate project goals, progress, and challenges.\nConduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.\nMonitor and manage changes to project scope, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and budgets.\nServe as the primary point of contact for Charge Network Projects, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.\nRepresenting BETA with external stakeholders in person and remote to ensure customer satisfaction and projects success.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAt least 5 years of experience with commercial project management, infrastructure and/or electric vehicle charge network deployment.\nContracting, construction management and/or high voltage electrical knowledge\nBachelor’s Degree in construction management or equivalent is preferred.\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.\nInterpersonal skills dealing with all levels of an organization.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable in word/excel, ect.\nAble to be a creative thinker and devise creative solutions to complicated problems.\nWillingness to travel 25% of the time, including internationally.\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nCivil or Electrical Engineer degree with hands on project execution experience\nExperience with 7460 and Airport Layout Plan updates is a plus.\nKnowledge of FAA requirements and operating in the NAS\nHigh proficiency understanding of Airport Operations\nMinimum of 3+ years of experience of project management, on-airport construction projects preferred.\nPMP or equivalent.\nExperience with construction management software.\nFAA Private Pilot License.\nEV Driver or first-hand EV charging experience.\nThe wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role.
