In this role you will be help evaluate current and potential supplier capabilities, assist in the evaluation of suppliers, develop and implement improvement plans, improve delivery, and cost performance throughout the supply chain for ground support equipment (GSE). Successful candidates will proactively solve and drive overall supplier development to ensure delivery, quality, and continuous process improvements.\nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nIdentify product improvements to improve producibility, lower risk, and reduce costs\nAs required, act as a technical liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to provide technical support\nAssist in driving effective corrective actions to resolve complex manufacturing defects and eliminate root cause\nAssist in the Inspection of parts and assemblies to improve both Beta TDP and Suppliers delivered Quality\nDetermine and develop quality requirements in alignment to ISO 9001\nDetermine, define, and develop processes to support quality requirements and business practices/needs\nConduct supplier assessments to evaluate processes in place and drive continuous improvement at suppliers\nDemonstrate innovation, technical excellence, attention to detail, self-direction, and courage\nMinimum Qualifications:\n1-3 years of manufacturing experience\nBA/BS degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or equivalent years of experience\nUS Person\nExperience in using Digital Product Definition, 2D drawings, drafting standards, and GD&T\nExperience working in a Lean/Manufacturing Engineering position\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nExperience reviewing of First Article Inspections per AS9102 or auditing per AS9100D.\nExperience integrating ISO 9001 requirements into systems and processes\nWillingness to travel domestically or internationally\nKnowledge of aircraft structures, systems, or interiors will be considered an asset\nExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)\nUnderstanding of design for assembly, lean manufacturing, and capacity planning techniques\nExperience in drafting and implementing manufacturing and quality processes.\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nThe wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role.
