The Supply Chain Contracts Manager will lead a team of contracting professionals and build a center of excellence for contract development and management within the Supply Chain function. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution-ensuring the team drives critical supply agreements from initial concept through final signature. They will partner closely with team members in the legal, procurement, new product introduction, logistics and finance functions to ensure Beta is considering, drafting, negotiating and executing the appropriate contract tools at the appropriate times. \nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing contracting team\nEstablish contracting standards, processes, and training programs\nPartner with Beta Legal to maintain a comprehensive library of contract templates and clauses\nEstablish best practices, policies, and procedures for all supply agreements\nServe as the primary subject matter expert for contracting within supply chain\nProvide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contracting matters\nEnsure all critical supply agreements align with business objectives and mitigate risk\nSupport complex vendor negotiations and balance commercial needs with legal/compliance requirements\nDrive timely contract closure to support supply chain initiatives\nPresent to leadership on contracts, terms and associated risks\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5-7+ years of contract management experience (5+ in supply chain/procurement context)\n3+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience\nDemonstrated success negotiating complex vendor/supply agreements\nExperience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain contracting roles\nExposure to multiple contract types (purchase agreements, service agreements, strategic partnerships)\nExpert-level contract drafting, negotiation, and management\nKnowledge of risk management, compliance, and legal principles\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in related field or JD\nPrevious experience in aerospace manufacturing or defense contracting\nFamiliarity with Ironclad or other contract lifecycle management software or compliance tracking software\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
