This role will play a vital role in ensuring the team drives critical supply agreements from initial concept through final signature. They will partner closely with team members in the legal, procurement, new product introduction, logistics and finance functions to ensure Beta is considering, drafting, negotiating and executing the appropriate contract tools at the appropriate times. \nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nSupport the development, negotiation, and execution of complex supply-chain agreements, from initial strategy through final signature\nPartner with Procurement, NPI, Legal, Logistics, Finance, and technical stakeholders to identify contracting needs early and select the appropriate agreement structure\nSupport a process to ensure critical intellectual property is protected with non-disclosure agreements\nEstablish and continuously improve contracting standards, processes, policies, playbooks, and training for supply agreements\nMaintain and enhance a comprehensive library of contract templates, clauses, guidance, and approved fallback positions\nProvide practical contract guidance to internal stakeholders on commercial terms, risk allocation, compliance requirements, and negotiation strategy\nSupport and, as appropriate, lead complex vendor negotiations while balancing business priorities, risk, legal requirements, and long-term supplier relationships\nEnsure critical supply agreements support business objectives and appropriately address commercial, operational, legal, and compliance risks\nDrive timely contract closure to enable sourcing decisions, supplier onboarding, NPI milestones, and broader supply-chain initiatives\nDevelop clear leadership-level summaries of key contract terms, decisions, risks, and recommended paths forward\nHelp establish effective contract-management practices, including tracking obligations, approvals, key milestones, and renewal or amendment needs\nMinimum Qualifications:\n3-5+ years of contract management experience (5+ in supply chain/procurement context)\nDemonstrated success negotiating complex vendor/supply agreements\nExperience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain contracting roles\nExposure to multiple contract types (purchase agreements, service agreements, strategic partnerships)\nExpert-level contract drafting, negotiation, and management\nKnowledge of risk management, compliance, and legal principles\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in related field or JD\nPrevious experience in aerospace manufacturing or defense contracting\nFamiliarity with Ironclad or other contract lifecycle management software or compliance tracking software\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
