Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture. \nBeta Technologies is seeking a Supplier Compliance Engineer who will partner with members of the Materials & Process, Programs, and Procurement teams to onboard, assess, monitor, and maintain suppliers on BETA’s Approved Supplier List\nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nBe a focal for new supplier onboarding, reassessment, and special process witnessing audits.\nPerform rate readiness assessments to determine supplier’s capacity and constraints. \nConduct conformity readiness assessments to provide an overview of the conformity process, assess processes-in-place, and process outputs to support future Conformity Inspections. \nAct as a conduit for clarifying and assessing aerospace and BETA’s quality requirements. \nWork directly with domestic and international suppliers. \nVerify and evaluate the control of supplier’s QMS and of applicable special processes. \nResponsible for SCAR creation, issuing, tracking, and collaborating with suppliers on RCCA for identified findings during assessments. \nReview KPIs of supplier rating system and help determine BETA’s level of oversight and generate audit reports based on the items above. \nAssist in the continuous improvement of BETA’s processes regarding Supplier Management and Supply Chain practices. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nFour-year degree in Engineering or related field\nMinimum of one-three years of industry experience \nExperience working in a manufacturing company that is certified to ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100 \nExcellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; bias for action; good analytical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills \nExperience with supplier management and auditing preferred \nExperience using an online ERP system and Microsoft Office or Google word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation apps \nAmerican Society for Quality (ASQ) certification is a plus, as is Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. \nAbility to travel+/- 30%\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nAS9100D Lead Auditor Certification\nExperience with Root Cause Corrective Action investigations; First Article inspections and FAA conformity inspections or test plans. \nCollaborating with suppliers on Supplier Corrective Action Request \nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
