This role provides coordination, data management, and administrative support to Supplier Development Engineers (SDEs) and the Onboarding (A.R.C.) team. The Supplier Development Specialist ensures that supplier development activities are tracked, reported, and executed efficiently, enabling the technical team to focus on engineering solutions while maintaining visibility across all active supplier engagements. This role requires around 50% travel.\nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nCoordinate supplier site visits and development activities for Supplier Development Engineers\nSupport supplier improvement on site activities\nTrack action items from SDE engagements and ensure timely closure\nPrepare meeting minutes and status reports from supplier development activities\nCompile data and metrics for SDE analysis and improvement projects\nTrack corrective actions from QMS audits to closure\nCoordinate conformity readiness and rate readiness improvement activities\nMaintain the supplier development action item register\nSchedule and facilitate supplier development meetings\nCoordinate cross-functional support across Engineering, Quality, and Procurement teams\nManage supplier documentation requests and support supplier portal administration\nMaintain supplier development dashboards and metrics\nPrepare periodic status reports on onboarding, conformity, and rate readiness queue status\nSupport quarterly business reviews with supplier performance data\nAssist with tracking supplier onboarding progress through the A.R.C. phases (QMS Audit, Conformity Readiness, Rate Readiness)\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTwo or four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field\nMinimum of two-three years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or quality operations\nExperience working in a manufacturing company, preferably one certified to ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail\nProficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (spreadsheets, presentations, word processing)\nExperience with data analysis, metrics tracking, and dashboard creation\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines\nExperience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing action item registers\nExperience using an online ERP system (e.g., Plex, SAP, or equivalent)\nAbility to work independently while supporting a broader team in a fast-paced environment\nThis role requires around 50% travel\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\nExperience in aerospace manufacturing or supplier quality environments\nFamiliarity with supplier audit processes and quality management systems (AS9100, AS9102)\nExperience with supplier corrective action tracking and root cause analysis processes\nKnowledge of production rate readiness assessments and capacity planning\nExperience with project management tools and techniques\nFamiliarity with supplier development or supplier quality methodologies\nAPICS, ISM, or other supply chain certification is a plus\nFamiliarity with Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt certification a plus\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
