They identify defects, and report when instances of poor-quality items increase. Supplier Quality Technicians assist the Supplier Quality Engineers with Corrective Actions and help execute actions identified from them. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards. The ideal candidate has keen attention to detail and is proficient in using precision dimensional inspection equipment including, but not limited to, calipers and micrometers.\nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\nAssist Quality Engineers with Conformity efforts Ensuring parts have proper documentation, properly segregated; and dispositioned as needed\nPeriodic inspection of components during Corrective actions investigations and Containment activities\nContribute to the RCCA(root cause/Corrective action) discussions\nAssist with FAI review and inspection action identified by Quality Engineering \nAssist in the generation of First Article Inspections per AS9100\nComplete required documentation and enter it into the ERP system, create inspection reports as needed\nInspects incoming components and raw materials using precision measuring instruments to determine conformance to product specifications and Aerospace Standards as required\nAssign traceability to incoming raw material, quarantine, and scrap components\nContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed\nPerform tasks as needed per individual jobs\nMaintain a clean work environment, and comply with safety requirements\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School graduate or equivalent\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and Engineering drawings\nAt least 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations\nWorking knowledge of GD&T\nExperience performing dimensional inspections using standard precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks\nProficient in the use of computer applications such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and/or web-based software\nAttention to detail\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nMechanical aptitude\nAbility to work independently, but function as a team player\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:\nCorrective actions Discipline (8D, RCCA) experience\nTwo or four-year degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred)\nWorking knowledge of CAD software including Catia, or Onshape\nTwo or more years of experience in Quality Control in Aerospace\nCertification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ)\nExperience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems such as AS9100\nKnowledge of FAA regulations and Aerospace conformity requirements\nExperienced interfacing with Business Enterprise Systems such as Plex\nExperience with Inspection software such as InspectionXpert, NetInspect, or equivalent reporting software\nExperience working with a manufacturing team to develop new processes\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
