Built on years of expert knowledge and hands-on experience, BETA provides critical back-office controls including corporate action management, middle office exception management, and front office account management and trading tools for advisors.\nWe are seeking an Engineering Manager for the Data Delivery team who will own the delivery of production-grade, cloud-hosted data-as-a-service platforms built on Snowflake. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership, with the ability to guide architecture decisions while enabling teams to execute at scale. We thrive on culture of excellence our managers need to be hands-on ; he/she will be the “Owner who can dive deep when required”.\nReporting to the Group Manager, Technology Development, this role has the ownership on developing product(s) within the Data Delivery team. The role will be involved with developing customer facing cloud hosted data as service products. This role necessitates meetings and require heavy collaboration within and across many teams. Our business model is hybrid, working from our Bangalore campus.\nDuties and Responsibilities of the Manager, Engineering\nOwn end-to-end delivery for Data Delivery initiatives across multiple projects.\nLead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.\nDrive data platform architecture covering ingestion, warehousing, transformation, and consumption.\nProvide technical direction and architectural governance across Snowflake-based solutions.\nStay hands-on as needed to unblock teams, review designs, and evaluate complex technical decisions.\nEnsure engineering best practices across data modeling, ETL/Reverse ETL, security, quality, and performance.\nPartner closely with product, architecture, and platform teams to align delivery with business outcomes.\nAct as a point of escalation for delivery, quality, and availability of data services in production.\nSkills and Experience of the Manager, Engineering\n6+ years of experience in data or software engineering, including engineering leadership roles.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nProven experience managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams.\nStrong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud-native architecture.\nHands-on exposure to Snowflake and modern data tooling (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, Kinesis, DBT).\nExperience leading teams through Agile delivery and SDLC best practices.\nAbility to balance technical depth with people leadership and stakeholder management.\nCuriosity and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).\nWorking knowledge of Python and scripting languages.\nExperience operating data platforms on a scale in
