You will work directly within squads responsible for authentication, identity and payment journeys.\nYou will act as an embedded security partner throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design and architecture discussions through implementation, security validation and continuous improvement.\nThis is a hands-on role combining application security and architecture analysis. When relevant, you will also perform pragmatic offensive security testing. You will help teams identify relevant risks, implement effective security controls and deliver secure, reliable and user-friendly experiences.\nYOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC \nIn this role, your main missions will be:\nWork closely with Developers, Architects, Product Managers and Engineering Managers within the squads,\nConduct secure design reviews and threat modeling for new projects, and provide pragmatic and actionable security recommendations,\nAssess existing implementations, including source code, APIs and security controls, to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement,\nIdentify realistic attack paths affecting critical user journeys, and validate them through controlled security testing or proof-of-concept exercises when necessary,\nPromote secure development practices and reusable security patterns, while supporting teams in implementing security improvements,\nPropose, lead and contribute to security initiatives across the authentication and payment ecosystems,\nCollaborate with the wider Security organization, including the Blue and Red Teams, as well as Compliance and Fraud teams.\nWhy join this role?\nWork on identity, authentication and payment journeys that are critical to Betclic’s users and business,\nBe embedded directly within the squads,\nInfluence security decisions from architecture through implementation,\nDevelop broad security expertise across architecture, application security, secure coding and offensive security,\nIdentify and implement meaningful security improvements rather than only providing recommendations,\nWork in a highly collaborative and international environment.\nTECHNOLOGY & SECURITY LANDSCAPE\nAuthentication and identity: MFA, passkeys, OIDC, SSO, IAM and session management,\nSecurity assessment: Threat modeling, architecture reviews, secure code reviews and controlled offensive testing,\nSecurity tooling: SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, secrets management and CI/CD security controls,\nLanguages: You will encounter C#, Rust, Kotlin, Dart and Flutter,\nPayment security: Familiarity with payment service providers, tokenization, payment flows, fraud prevention and PCI DSS is a plus.\nWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? \nWe are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!\nThis job is for you if:\nHave 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on securing applications or digital products,\nHave experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams in an agile environment,\nAre comfortable analyzing both security architecture and implementation details,\nUnderstand the security principles behind modern authentication and identity systems,\nAre proactive and able to identify, propose and drive security improvements,\nCan communicate effectively with developers, architects, product managers and business stakeholders,\nAre fluent in English,\nAre interested in payment security and fraud prevention; prior experience in these areas is not required,\nHave experience with web and API security.
