Learn more at betsol.com\n About the Role\nWe are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to drive automation and quality across application delivery, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and deployments.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and troubleshooting. The role will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, and Platform teams to ensure high-quality and reliable releases.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.\nAutomate functional, regression, integration, API, smoke, and deployment validation testing.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\nValidate application deployments across Kubernetes and containerized environments.\nPerform deployment validation, health checks, rollback testing, and release-readiness testing.\nTest REST APIs, service integrations, and JSON/YAML payloads.\nAnalyze pipeline failures, application logs, Kubernetes events, and deployment logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.\nValidate cloud-based applications and services across Azure and/or GCP environments.\nImprove automation coverage and reduce flaky or unstable automated tests.\nDefine quality gates, test coverage, release exit criteria, and production-readiness checks.\nCollaborate closely with QA, Development, DevOps, Cloud, and Platform Engineering teams.\nMandatory Skills\n6+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Software Testing roles.\nStrong hands-on programming/scripting experience in Python, Java, TypeScript, or C#.\nStrong experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.\nHands-on experience with API automation and REST API testing.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.\nExperience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including:kubectl\nPod and container troubleshooting\nDeployment/rollout validation\nLog analysis\nReadiness and liveness checks\n\nExperience with Azure and/or GCP.\nStrong knowledge of Git and version-control workflows.\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills across applications, pipelines, and cloud environments.\nGood to Have\nExperience with AKS or GKE.\nKnowledge of Argo CD/GitOps.\nExperience with Terraform or Ansible.\nScripting knowledge in Bash or PowerShell.\nKnowledge of OAuth2/OIDC and Keycloak.\nUnderstanding of microservices and distributed systems.\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools.\nExperience validating production deployments and release readiness.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAutomation-first mindset.\nStrong ownership of quality and release readiness.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nStrong collaboration with QA, DevOps, Platform, Cloud, and Engineering teams.\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n Ideal Candidate Profile\nA seasoned, hands-on QA professional who sees the whole system rather than individual features. They understand how cloud infrastructure, services, data and customer workflows fit together, and their test coverage reflects that.
