This position tracks and evaluates stability data, responds to shelf-life inquires, and recommends improvements to stability protocols and product formulations. The position works closely with Research & Development, Quality, and Project Management and provides additional formulation support as needed. \nEssential Functions\nManages accelerated stability testing for new products and reformulations. \nConduct real-time stability testing for probiotic products and evaluate compliance with established shelf-life claims. \nDevelop, maintain, and track stability protocols, schedules, records, and results. \nReview and analyze stability data to identifytrends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. \nPrepare stability reports and provide data-based recommendations related to product shelf life.\nRecommend improvements to stability protocols based on study results and product requirements. \nRecommend and supportformula changes neededto improve product stability-related issues. \nWorkwithQuality to investigate and resolve shelf-life inquiries and stability-related issues. \nCollaborate with Research and Development, Quality, Project Management, and other teams to coordinate stability activities. \nSupport additionalformulation and product development activities as needed. \nAdditional Responsibilities\nManage assigned tasks and priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment. \nFollow company, department, quality, and safety policies and procedures. \nMaintain accurateand complete laboratory records. \nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nJob Qualifications\nBachelor's degreein chemistry, biochemistry, food science, biology or a related scientific or technical field from a four-year college or university.\nTwo to five years of related experience in product stability, formulation, product development, quality, or the dietary supplement industry. \nAbility to review and interpret stability data, scientific literature, technical procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. \nAbility to prepare reports, technical documentation,and business correspondence. \nAbility to perform and interpret calculations involving percentages, ratios, proportions, probability, and basic statisticalanalysis. \nProficiencywith Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learncompany and laboratory systems. \nAbility to communicate technical information clearly to internal teams and stakeholders. \nPhysical Requirements\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required tostand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.\nThe employee may exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.\nMay be exposed to considerable noise from machinery.\nOur Benefits\nJoin our team and enjoy a comprehensive package of competitive benefits and perks designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
