The position requires 42 hours per week and pays hourly at the rate range of $26/hr to $28/hr.\nhttps://betterbuzzcoffee.com/\nPERKS OF WORKING AT BETTER BUZZ:\nWork with an amazing team of coffee enthusiasts\nFull benefits packages available including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with a match\nGreat discounts\nPaid time off\nWork with a fast-growing brand\nResponsibilities\nAssistant General Managers:\nLeadership & Team Development\nHelp develop a team of Shift Supervisors, Training Ambassadors and Baristas who embody the Better Buzz culture\nAct with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote the Company’s culture, values and mission\nAlongside your General Manager, address all team concerns with urgency, fairness, clarity, strength and compassion\nChampion a workplace environment free of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, and ensure all mandated trainings \nGuest Experience & Brand Standards\nLead the team to deliver exceptional guest experience\nResolve guest concerns professionally and recover the experience with empathy and urgency\nChampion training and readiness for all brand initiatives, promotions, and seasonal campaigns\nBecome part of the neighborhood and community\nOperational Performance\nManage to given metrics, identify gaps, build plans to close gaps, cascades plans to team to execute\nModel and lead hospitable service and upselling\nPromote adherence to overall speed of service, fulfillment and drive-thru time\nMaintain a high level of guest feedback scores\nEnsure all meal and rest breaks are taken and properly recorded in accordance with state law\nHelp ensure proper inventory (Ex. pars, ordering, receiving, rotation, storage, and waste tracking, etc.)\nMaintain cash handling integrity and follow loss prevention protocols\nEnforce brand standards and expectations such as proper uniform, cleanliness, and recipe adherence\nCompliance, Safety & Wellbeing\nMaintain food safety and sanitation standards in line with ANSI certified Manager certification and county health requirements\nComply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including state specific wage and hour, scheduling, and leave requirements\nComplete and document required incident reporting, including workplace injury, harassment complaints, etc.\nMaintain a safe physical environment for guests and team members and promote a culture of psychological safety\nQualifications\nRequired:\n1+ years of prior management experience in a similar high-velocity, high-volume coffee or fast casual environment\nManager Food Safety Certification\nOpen availability - days, nights, weekends, holidays\n42 hours of work per week\nPreferred:\nAssociates Degree\nDrive-Thru experience\nNew location opening experience\nAbout Better Buzz\nFounded in 2002 by two college students with a dream and a coffee cart, Better Buzz has grown into a thriving community with locations across California, Nevada, Arizona and soon, Florida.
