If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your interpersonal skills directly drive business recovery and customer loyalty, we want to hear from you.\nLocation: Onsite in Irvine, CA\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nPay Range: $20-21/hour\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and SMS to connect with clients regarding missed, past-due, or defaulted payments.\n\nPartner with clients to understand the root cause of payment issues, negotiate solutions, and collect outstanding balances.\n\nStructure approved payment arrangements, secure firm commitments, and follow up consistently on scheduled payment dates.\n\nNavigate sensitive financial conversations with tact, professional composure, and clear boundaries, keeping the customer relationship positive.\n\nMeticulously log all customer interactions, payment commitments, and account status updates in our CRM.\n\nWork closely with Billing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to resolve account discrepancies and eliminate friction points.\n\nIdentify recurring patterns or system issues contributing to customer defaults and share actionable feedback with leadership.\n\nWhat You Bring\n3-5+ years in collections, accounts receivable, outbound calling, or customer retention is preferred.\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).\n\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex account and billing details clearly and simply.\n\nStrong problem-solving mindset, comfortable handling objections, and confident discussing overdue balances.\n\nPatience, active listening, and the resilience to stay calm and constructive during difficult conversations.\n\nComfort managing high call volumes, navigating daily account queues, and hitting target performance metrics.\n\nSolid experience with modern CRM platforms and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Logix, or Salesforce).\n\nWhy Join Us?\nYou play a central role in protecting company revenue while genuinely assisting clients in regaining financial good standing.\n\nA supportive team environment where peer coaching, transparency, and recognition are part of daily operations.\n\nOngoing training, clear performance pathways, and opportunities to expand into senior customer operations or sales roles.\n\nHealth/dental/vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement plan options.\n\nWe don’t just focus on doing one thing 100% better; we focus on doing every little thing 1% better consistently.
