BetterCloud is backed, among others, by some of the best technology investors.\nAbout the role\nWe’re hiring a Senior Content Marketing Manager to own our content strategy end-to-end and lead the next chapter of how Corestack shows up in the market.\nOur audience is technical, skeptical, and mostly marketing-phobic. Winning their attention takes content that’s sharp, useful, and genuinely fun to read.\nThis role reports to the Director of Marketing and acts as a key stakeholder for Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Sales.\nWhat you’ll do:\nSet and own the content strategy across the full funnel, from top of funnel thought leadership to bottom of funnel enablement.\n\nBuild and manage the editorial calendar, while managing freelancers and agency partners with thoughtful stewardship to help scale the work while meeting or surpassing the quality bar.\n\nOwn website content as a core content channel, including AEO/GEO strategy, keywords, and metadata. Keep key pages current, useful, and working hard for the pipeline and treat it as one of the primary places we tell our story.\n\nManage the paid media relationship, including ad copy and creative for newsletter placements, social media, and other paid channels, ensuring every placement reflects the brand voice and drives measurable results.\n\nWrite email copy and own content for nurture campaigns, turning long-form pieces into sequences that move prospects through the funnel without sounding like marketing.\n\nWrite and edit flagship pieces yourself, including:\nLong-form reports\n\nCategory-defining narratives\n\nPress releases\n\nEnsure content earns traffic, generates pipeline, and gets used by Sales.\n\nUphold the brand voice that has a pulse: opinionated, plainspoken, occasionally funny, never fluffy.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS.\n\nDemonstrated ownership of a content function, including strategy, budget, and reporting.\n\nExceptional writing and editing skills, with samples that prove it.\n\nExperience with A/B testing and content personalization, using data to sharpen what's working and kill what isn't.\n\nNaturally curious, with a habit of digging into topics until you actually understand them\n\nHands-on experience with analytics and SEO tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics, with the ability to turn data into decisions (not just dashboards).\n\nComfort using AI tools thoughtfully as part of the workflow without letting them flatten the voice.\n\nA strong point of view on what good content looks like, paired with the humility to test with different content types and be wrong.\n\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with the IT/Cloud personas\n\nBackground in journalism or editorial work\n\nExperience with Webflow\n\nVideo content strategy experience\n\nCompensation, benefits & logistics\nSalary Range: $145 - 170k\nThis salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations.
