As a senior position, the Sales Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the customer and BEUMER teams, ensuring the seamless coordination of techno-commercial activities. They collaborate closely with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations, and Software/Controls departments to align system designs, produce comprehensive technical documents, and develop estimates and proposals-all while actively engaging with clients. After the sale, the Sales Project Manager facilitates a smooth technical and commercial handover from the sales team to operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSubject Matter Expertise:\nBecome an expert in BEUMER products and applications.\nStay up to date on industry trends and developments.\nProposal Development:\nUnderstand customer requirements and business objectives and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.\nAnalyze customer requirements to identify system design needs.\nSupport Systems Engineering Team to design end-to-end logistics solutions, including conveyor systems, sortation systems solutions using 2D and 3D CAD.\nAnalyze logistics workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, proposing optimizations and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.\nSupport the team to calculate throughput, performance, functionalities etc. of the proposed solutions and compare them against customer goals/objectives.\nCustomize and configure products to meet customer-specific requirements, including developing prototypes, conducting feasibility studies, and performing testing and validation.\nCollaboration:\nLead pre-sales collaboration efforts with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations and Software/Controls departments to design and develop robust system solutions.\nServe as the primary senior technical & commercial point of contact for customers, offering expert pre-sales and post-sales support.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and operations staff, to ensure successful proposal development.\nLead the hand-over process from sales to operations ensuring smooth coordination between all parties involved while maintaining the customer relationship. correct design parameters for the proposed solution.\nSales Support:\nCreate technical and commercial presentations for the sales team.\nEnsure sales team is well supported with the technical and commercial topics.\nAct as customer's representative ensuring smooth coordination and achievement of customer goals.\nStay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistic systems and supply chain management.\nAttend and support the sales team with client meetings and calls as required, providing expert technical guidance.\nCompensation Range: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually\nThe posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.\n Key Requirements and Professional Attributes: \nBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred) with project management skills\n5+ years of experience in technical sales or systems engineering, with a focus on warehouse automation\nProven experience in leading technical projects and teams.\nStrong time management and attention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nHigh computer literacy in MS Office Suite.\nFamiliarity with 2D and 3D modeling like AutoCAD and SolidEdge.\nExceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong active listening skills for customer satisfaction and technical insight.\nPreferred experience with automated systems and MS Excel/VBA programming.\nDemonstrated ability to set and meet goals, work collaboratively, and care for team members.\n BEUMER is an innovative company, where every employee is part of the \"family\".
