Integrity, Inspiration, Quality and Teamwork!\n The Site Manager oversees the daily construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of integrated logistic system projects, including mechanical and electrical equipment, automation, and supporting structures. This role leads both self-performing and subcontracted teams, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. The Site Manager serves as the primary on-site contact for all construction-related activities and supports the Senior Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery. The Site Manager works closely with QHSE, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.\nResponsibilities:\nProject & Site Leadership:\nLead all on-site construction and installation activities for logistic system projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specification.\nManage multiple trades including mechanical, electrical, structural, and controls integration teams.\nCoordinate pre-construction planning, including scheduling, estimating, and staffing needs.\nConduct daily coordination meetings with subcontractors, installation supervisors, and customer representatives.\nServe as the main liaison between the project team, client, and vendors, always maintaining professional and effective communication.\nFoster a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nConstruction & Installation Management:\nOversee the installation and commissioning of material handling systems such as conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, and related automation equipment.\nReview and approve construction drawings, specifications, and RFIs.\nConduct constructability reviews throughout design and execution phases.\nEnsure the project is constructed according to contract documents and engineering requirements.\nIdentify and resolve technical, logistical, or scheduling conflicts proactively.\nLead and coordinate system testing and commissioning in cooperation with the engineering and customer support teams.\nSafety, Quality & Compliance:\nMaintain a hazard-free site and ensure adherence to OSHA, company, and client safety standards.\nEnforce compliance with all HSE/EHS policies and lead safety briefings, audits, and corrective actions.\nMaintain high standards of quality control; document installation deficiencies and corrective actions.\nEnsure all site documentation, certifications, and records are accurate and up to date.\nProject Controls & Reporting:\nTrack and report project progress, production, and resource utilization.\nReview and manage cost control items, including change orders, purchase orders, and expense approvals.\nOversee subcontractor performance and compliance with schedule, quality, and safety requirements.\nPrepare and maintain key project reports including:\nDaily Logs and Site Reports\n3-Week Look-Ahead Schedules\nProgress and Quality Tracking Logs\nSafety Reports and Training Records\nChange Directive and T&M Logs\nPunch List and Close-Out Documentation\nPlanning & Documentation:\nDevelop and maintain project-specific plans, including:\nSite Safety Plan\nQuality Control Plan\nPre-Construction Plan\nSite Management Plan\nInstallation Work Plan\nSupport procurement and subcontractor engagement processes, including scope development and proposal reviews.\nEnsure accurate as-built documentation and close-out deliverables\nCompensation Range: $140,000-150,000 Annually\nThe posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.\n Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n8-10+ years of construction or site management experience within material handling or logistic systems (conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, etc.).\nProven ability to manage multidisciplinary subcontractors and installation teams in fast-paced industrial environments.\nStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical system installations, including automation interfaces.\nOSHA 30-Hour Certification required; First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.\nProficient with MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and construction/project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Navisworks).\nExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.\nMust be able to travel up to 75% and work on-site for extended project durations.\nValid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.\n BEUMER is an innovative company, where every employee is part of the \"family\".
