Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the assigned category,
• Prepare and monitor sourcing plans in line with seasonal and collection requirements,
• Manage and develop relationships with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturers,
• Research new suppliers, manufacturers, and alternative production sources,
• Manage the supplier portfolio based on quality, cost, capacity, lead time, and performance criteria,
• Conduct product- and category-based cost analyses and lead cost optimization and efficiency initiatives,
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and other commercial terms with suppliers,
• Coordinate with relevant teams throughout the sampling, prototyping, and product development processes,
• Monitor product development to ensure compliance with target cost, quality, and delivery requirements,
• Regularly evaluate supplier performance and follow up on necessary improvement actions,
• Analyze supply chain risks and develop alternative sourcing options,
• Monitor trends in menswear, textiles, manufacturing, and global sourcing and identify new opportunities,
• Work closely with Design, Product, Merchandising, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations teams,
• Ensure seasonal sourcing calendars progress in line with established deadlines,
• Monitor the sourcing budget and relevant KPIs and provide regular reports to management,
• Manage supplier processes in line with sustainability principles, quality standards, and company policies,
• Contribute to the digitalization and data-driven management of sourcing processes,
• Coordinate the sourcing team and support team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Engineering or Industrial Engineering,
• At least 10 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing,
• Preferably experienced in the apparel, fashion, textile, retail, or e-commerce sectors,
• Proven experience in managing domestic and international suppliers,
• Strong knowledge of textile and apparel manufacturing processes,
• Experience in cost analysis, pricing, and commercial negotiations,
• Strong expertise in supplier development and performance management,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Excellent planning and organizational skills,
• Results- and target-oriented,
• Strong communication and negotiation skills,
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams,
• Proficiency in English,
• Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally.
