As a creative agency working across a wide range of digital projects, we need someone who can keep the numbers in check, the invoices flowing, and the financial admin under control – all while helping us improve and streamline how we manage our day-to-day accounts.\nThis role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills, a solid grasp of accounting software, and a proactive attitude. You’ll support the financial side of the business, from reconciling transactions and managing supplier invoices to assisting with monthly reporting and supporting the management team with finance-related queries.\nWhile we’re a creative business at heart, we take our financial processes seriously, and you’ll play a key role in making sure everything stays accurate, compliant, and timely. Whether you’re already working in a similar role or returning to work part-time, this is a flexible and fulfilling position where you’ll make a meaningful impact.\nResponsibilities\nTypical responsibilities in this Accounts Assistant role include but are not limited to:\nManaging day-to-day financial admin, including invoices, receipts, and expense tracking\nSupporting the reconciliation of bank transactions and credit card statements\nAssisting with supplier payments and ensuring payment schedules are up to date\nSupporting monthly reporting, profit and loss summaries, and financial reviews\nHelping to maintain and organise digital finance records in line with HMRC requirements\nCoordinating with external accountants and submitting required documentation\nMaintaining and updating invoice templates, records, and client billing cycles\nResponding to finance-related queries from team members or suppliers\nSupporting the management team with ad hoc admin and financial tasks\nSkills & Desirables\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:\nAt least 1-2 years of experience in an accounts or finance admin role\nProficiency with accounting tools and software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar\nExcellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies or missing items\nA confident grasp of spreadsheets and digital finance systems\nGood understanding of basic financial procedures and reporting principles\nReliable time management and the ability to handle deadlines independently\nStrong organisational and communication skills\nA discreet, trustworthy approach to handling sensitive financial information\nBonus: knowledge of agency or creative business models, or experience with project-based billing\nWhat You’ll Get\nPart-time, flexible
