If you're looking to join a forward-thinking, rapidly growing organization with helping people as its number one goal, we want to hear from you.\nThe Role \nBeyond Finance is searching for an office-savvy Payment Operations Associate that will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks within our Business Operations Department. This position will collaborate with the department to assist in helping the client settle as much of their unsecured debt as possible. The Business Operations Department works directly with creditors, agencies and law offices to resolve delinquent accounts to negotiate the best possible savings for each client.\nResponsibilities\nManage daily settlement pipeline and exception reporting for the payment setup and clearing process.\nCommunicate with creditors and agencies (on the phone and via email) in order to clear payment exceptions and uncleared payments.\nSupport the acquisition of required documentation required to successfully remit a payment.\nRequest proof of payment from collection agencies, creditors, and our third-party payment processor company.\nUtilize accumulation of funds banking ledger to determine when funds will be available for the payment remittance and ensure sufficient deposit account balances based on operational need. \nUphold high level of knowledge of departmental functions and activities in order to respond to internal and external inquiries and requests for information and departmental support. \nScan necessary documents and attach them to client accounts in our client relations management system (Salesforce).\nActively multitask with the ability to maintain attention to small details.\nProvide support in word processing, typing correspondence and proofreading. \nHave the capability to flex-work to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and manage last-minute changes.\nBe responsible for special projects and other assignments as directed by the Business Operations.\nResearch and accuracy required when handling escalation issues\nQualifications: \nUndergrad Degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience \nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and Outlook with an ability to learn our systems\nOutstanding interpersonal, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills\nPositive, Prompt, and Reliable\nSalesforce experience preferred \nBoast quality customer relations skills and phone etiquette\nAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines\nProven track record of working cooperatively and effectively with various work styles, levels of management and support staff\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nThe base hourly range is listed below.\nHourly Range\n$25—$27 USD\nWhy Join Us?\nWhile you make a difference for others, we’ll work to make a difference for you, providing an uplifting, collaborative work environment and benefits that reflect your value to us.
