Working closely with Corporate Functions, Engineering, People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT and our international sites, you will ensure that our external service providers deliver value, quality and reliability while meeting our commercial and compliance requirements.\nYou will take global ownership of assigned indirect procurement categories, with a primary focus on Corporate & Engineering Services, Travel and Contingent Workforce.\nYour Mission\nDevelop and execute global category strategies for Corporate & Engineering Services, Travel, Contingent Workforce and other assigned indirect procurement categories.\n\nAnalyse spend, demand, supplier markets, benchmarks and business requirements to identify savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, standardisation and risk-reduction opportunities.\n\nLead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including market engagement, RFI/RFP processes, bid evaluations, business cases, negotiations and award recommendations.\n\nNegotiate commercial terms, pricing models, service levels and framework agreements in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Compliance and relevant business stakeholders.\n\nGovern the engagement of consultants, contractors, interim managers, staffing agencies and other external service providers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable country requirements.\n\nManage strategic suppliers and service providers by establishing KPIs, SLAs and regular performance reviews, addressing escalations and driving continuous improvement.\n\nPartner with global functions, Engineering, People & Culture and local sites to align procurement strategies with business needs, budgets and operational priorities.\n\nEnsure compliance with procurement policies, approval and signature authorities, contract requirements, purchase-to-pay processes, information security, export control and sustainability standards.\n\nMonitor and report savings, cost avoidance, contract coverage, sourcing pipelines, supplier performance and category risks to Procurement leadership and relevant stakeholders.\n\nDrive procurement process improvements, stakeholder training and global initiatives to strengthen procurement governance, transparency and value delivery across Beyond Gravity.\n\nYour Story\nMust-haves:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Law or a related field.\n\n5-8+ years of relevant experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management or supplier and contract management within an international environment.\n\nProven experience in sourcing complex services and managing categories such as Corporate Services, Engineering Services, Professional Services, Travel or Contingent Workforce.\n\nStrong commercial negotiation, tendering, contract lifecycle management, supplier performance and stakeholder management skills.\n\nStrong analytical capabilities, including spend analysis, business case development and the ability to quantify savings and cost avoidance.\n\nWorking knowledge of procurement governance, approval controls, purchase-to-pay processes and compliance requirements for external service engagements.\n\nFluency in English and German, with the ability to negotiate, draft documentation, present recommendations and lead cross-functional discussions in both languages.\n\nNice-to-haves:\nExperience in contingent workforce governance, staffing frameworks, managed services, consultancy or interim management.\n\nExperience in aerospace, defence, advanced engineering or another regulated international industry.\n\nFamiliarity with SAP Ariba or comparable source-to-pay tools, spend analytics, tender tracking and supplier performance reporting.\n\nA professional procurement certification, such as CIPS, CPSM or equivalent.\n\nAdditional European language skills.\n\nWhy Beyond Gravity\nWork in an international environment with global mindset and high-tech products that will fly into space\nA highly specialized and motivated team with a lot of know-how in a unique industry\nWe live a hands-on mentality and take suggestions for improvement seriously\nAttractive employment conditions (contribution to public transport, trainings and development opportunities, full paid maternity/paternity leave and many more)\nFlexible and mobile working and at least 5 weeks of vacation with possibility to buy additional vacation\nAre you ready for lift-off?\nOur core values - Passionate, Together, and Curious - transform challenges into opportunities.
