You'll be responsible for the execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cost controlling & accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and standardized processes across Group entities. Serves as a subject matter expert for cost controlling & accounting and month-end closing activities, supports forecasting and planning processes, and contributes to the harmonization of financial procedures across countries. This role is a link between accounting and controlling.\nYour Mission\nSAP S/4HANA Controlling Processes\nReview periodically controlling master data structures, including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and project-related master data.\n\nConfigure, monitor, and execute controlling settlement processes within SAP S/4HANA, including:\n\nCost center settlements\nInternal order settlements\nProject settlements\nAsset Under Construction (AuC) settlements\nPeriodic allocations and assessments\nDepreciation processing \n\nEnsure settlement rules and allocation cycles are correctly maintained and aligned with business and accounting requirements.\n\nSupport testing, validation, and process enhancements related to SAP S/4HANA Controlling functionalities.\n\nPeriod-End Closing Activities\nPerform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end controlling activities in accordance with Group closing schedules. Execute and monitor recurring controlling processes and system runs to ensure complete and accurate financial results.\n\nPrepare and post reclassification, allocation, and adjustment entries were required. Supports with the intercompany billing (submits the information to the billing team with the data in regards IC recharges, checks the invoices created by billing and submits for processing).\n\nInvestigate and resolve controlling-related closing issues in collaboration with Accounting and business stakeholders.\n\nEnsure data integrity and completeness of controlling information used for financial reporting including ICS-documentation.\n\nProcess Standardization and Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze existing controlling processes across countries and business units and identify opportunities for standardization and harmonization.\n\nProcess Standardization and Continuous Improvement\n\nSupport the alignment of local finance processes with Group standards and SAP best practices.\n\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, automation, and control effectiveness.\n\nBudgeting, Forecasting and Cost Center Planning\nSupport annual budget and periodic forecast cycles by providing and maintaining planning templates and supporting tools.\n\nPrepare and update cost center planning files with latest actual financial data.\n\nValidate data quality and ensure consistency between planning and actual reporting environments.\n\nSupport finance stakeholders in planning submissions and variance analysis activities.\n\nFinancial Data Quality and Reporting Support\nMonitor controlling data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.\n\nSupport the preparation of management reporting by providing reliable cost center, project, and allocation information.\n\nPerform reconciliations between Controlling (CO) and Financial Accounting (FI) modules.\n\nAssist in the analysis of cost development, allocations, and project performance.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Accounting, FP&A, Billing, Project Management, and local Finance teams to ensure accurate financial processing. Support business users with controlling-related system and process questions.
