More information at: www.beyondgravity.com\nOur Crew\nThe IT Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the end-user computing environment to ensure a secure, efficient, and modern digital workplace experience. This role bridges engineering and operations, focusing on device management, collaboration tools, identity, and automation, while continuously improving user experience and service quality.\nYour Mission\nDigital Workplace & End-User Computing\nDesign, deploy, and manage modern workplace solutions (Windows, macOS, mobile devices).\n\nEnsure consistent, secure, and high-quality end-user experience across devices and platforms.\n\nAct as an escalation point (3rd line) for complex workplace-related incidents and problems.\n\nDevice & Endpoint Management\nAdminister and optimize endpoint management platforms (e.g. Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Jamf, SCCM).\n\nManage OS deployment, configuration baselines, patching, and lifecycle management.\n\nImplement compliance, security, and conditional access policies for endpoints.\n\nManage central Software packaging, configuration and distribution based on SCCM and MS Intune.\n\nCollaboration & Productivity Tools\nSupport and enhance collaboration platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365: Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).\n\nManagement of Teams PSTN connections\n\nWork closely with stakeholders to improve adoption and effective use of workplace tools.\n\nEnsure availability, performance, and governance of collaboration services.\n\nPrinter Management - 2nd and 3rd level support for different Printing solutions\n\n2nd level support for Logitech and MS Teams Room environment for all BG markets\n\nIncident handling of Level 3 issues with main suppliers (MS, Logitech, ScreenBeam) and all future technologies\n\nIdentity, Security & Access\nCollaborate on identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID).\n\nSupport MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust initiatives.\n\nWork with Security teams to align workplace solutions with security standards and policies.\n\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nAutomate workplace operations using PowerShell, scripts, or low-code tools.\n\nImprove reliability, scalability, and efficiency through standardization and automation.\n\nContribute to service improvement initiatives and roadmap planning.\n\nDocumentation & Knowledge Management\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architectural diagrams.\n\nSupport knowledge transfer to Service Desk and operations teams.\n\nPromote best practices and standards across the workplace environment.\n\nYour Story\nMust’s:\nTechnical degree, preferably at university level\nAppropriate technical experience, great technical interest and generally very good skills in IT \nMicrosoft certifications (e.g. MD-102, MS-102, AZ-104).\nExperience with VDI/DaaS solutions (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix). \nFamiliarity with security frameworks (Zero Trust, CIS, ISO 27001). \nExperience supporting hybrid or remote-first workforces. \nExposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. \nFluent English\nNice to have’s:\nGood project management skills\nExperience and knowledge of Unix/Linux OS´s \nWhy Beyond Gravity?\nYou will be a part of an engaged team with the ambition to innovate space!\nYou will work in a growing high-tech company with career opportunities within the location or internationally.\nIn Lisbon we have a down-to-earth culture, experienced and competent employees and a versatile management team.We offer a hybrid work situation and flexible hours to match your rhythm.\nWe have moved to our brand-new office.
