You will work closely with engineering, production, quality and project teams to ensure robust, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.\nYour Mission\nProvide technical expertise in material selection, material properties and manufacturing processes, supporting complex technical challenges across the product lifecycle.\n\nDevelop and optimize manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement and translating production feedback into practical process enhancements.\n\nSupport production operations by leading root-cause investigations, resolving complex technical issues and defining effective corrective and preventive actions.\n\nDrive design for manufacturing and cost optimization, promoting standardization, manufacturability and cost-effective product solutions.\n\nLead material and process qualification activities, including the definition of qualification methods for specialized processes, repairs, non-destructive inspection and failure analysis.\n\nDevelop technical documentation, including process specifications, manufacturing work instructions, technical reports and engineering dispositions.\n\nSupport product development and sharing and collaboration across disciplines.\n\nYour Story\nYou hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nYou bring strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes and materials, ideally within a complex, high-technology industrial environment.\n\nYou have experience in process development, optimization, material qualification, technical problem-solving and continuous improvement.\n\nYou are familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design to Cost (DtC) principles.\n\nYou have experience developing tooling and equipment, including jigs, fixtures and automation solutions.\n\nYou can create and maintain technical documentation, update manufacturing instructions, conduct root-cause analysis and manage non-conformities.\n\nYou have experience leading complex technical projects and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.\n\nYou are comfortable working with CAD tools and technical documentation systems, and you understand the role of MES, ERP systems such as SAP, and digital manufacturing tools.\n\nYou demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment and the ability to balance technical requirements with cost, quality and schedule considerations.\n\nYou are an effective communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues and working with specialists across different disciplines.\n\nYou are curious, adaptable and passionate about continuous improvement, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and develop new solutions.\n\nYou demonstrate a collaborative mindset, take ownership of your work and contribute positively to a supportive, high-performance team.\n\nIt would be an advantage if you also have:\nExperience in the aerospace or space manufacturing industry and an understanding of its technologies and market dynamics.\n\nHands-on experience with carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials, composite tooling and processing.\n\nKnowledge of sandwich structure assembly techniques.\n\nExperience with digital manufacturing tools, production station tracking and KPI management.\n\nProject management experience, including planning, risk management and stakeholder communication.\n\nExperience with global process standardization and technology transfer.\n\nWhy
