Here, you’ll have the opportunity to outperform yourself and learn something new every day, as each day brings unique chances to go Beyond.\nSummary\nPerform Systems Engineering (aka Technical Project Management) throughout Study, Development, Qualification and Production phases, to achieve and maintain qualification of product.Is the technical responsible for identified critical sub-systems(such as separation mechanism)of the company portfolio.\nYour Mission\nLeadsand coordinates technical activitiesas engineering responsiblewith the objective to meet requirements within the given budgetand agreed schedule.\nLeads and coordinates technical proposals, quotations, concept work and trade studies.\nSupports processes and product continuous improvements. Propose market-oriented initiatives to improve existing technologies and production processes\nBreaks down the technical requirements to subsystems generating specifications for customers, suppliers andsubcontractors. Tracks the requirements’ compliance status.\nPlans technical workpackages, e.g. through the Design Development and Verification Plan.\nWrites and reviews technical specifications, project related deliverables and other documents (e.g. Test Plan, drawings, changes)\nCarries out continuous technical risk management and perform Root Cause Analyses. \nProvides engineering support to production.\nRepresents engineering during negotiations and reviews with customers and suppliers or subcontractors. Is the engineering point of contact for customers. \nYour Story\nUniversity master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in System Engineering or Technical Project Management in the space or aerospace sector.\nProven expertise with composites systems or mechanism.\nExperience in the architecture, design & development of aerospace systems, based on defined performance, cost and reliability targets.\nKnowledge of project management techniques and tools.\nProfessional working proficiency in English (German is a plus), with strong writing and communication skills.\nProven track record in analytical and problem-solving skills.\nNice to have’s:\nExperience with requirements management tools and databases / systems, e.g. DOORs, Polarion\nKnowledge of the aerospace industry and market\nLeadership experience\nWhy Beyond Gravity\nWork in an international environment with global mindset and high-tech products that will fly into space\nA highly specialized and motivated team with a lot of know-how in a unique industry\nWe live a hands-on mentality and take suggestions for improvement seriously\nAttractive employment conditions (contribution to public transport, trainings and development opportunities, full paid maternity/paternity leave and many more)\nFlexible and mobile working and at least 5 weeks of vacation with possibility to buy additional vacation.\nBefore applying, please make sure theabove requirements match your experience.
