documented in the test plan during the development cycle and formal product verification\n\n• Update test results in the test management system\n\n• Identify failures during test execution and log appropriate information needed into the defect tracking system to allow the developer to understand, reproduce, and address the issue\n\n• Exercise good judgment determining priority and severity of defects\n\n• Monitor defects resolution efforts and report defects status to technical lead \n\n• Retest the resolved defects and update test results in the test and defect management system\n\n• Work in a geographically separated team in different time zones\n\n• Contribute to innovation and process improvement efforts\n\nEducation\n\n• Technical degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience as a software professional\n\nExperience\n\nOverall 2-3 years experience in the following: \n\n• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases\n\n• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing\n\n• \n\n• Proven working experience in software quality experience\n\n• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and determine the root cause of defects\n\n• Strong knowledge of software QC methodologies, tools and processes \n\n• Familiar with Agile/Scrum development environment\n\n• Completed 2-3 full cycle SW testing projects\n\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities \n\n• Enjoy the challenge of testing boundary or edge cases that break software\n\n• Experience with HP ALM / JAMA test management system is preferred \n\n• Previous knowledge of or experience in the life sciences industry is desirable but not
