Advise Maintenance Manager of all critical issues and assists in advance planning to prevent issues. \nRoutinely interacts, communicates and collaborates with Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Purchasing, Maintenance Forepersons, Maintenance Technicians, Production Manager and/or Production Supervisors to meet needs of plant operations on daily basis.\nReview production schedule daily with Maintenance Manager, Supervisor and Leads to ensure lines are changed over, setup and tested at the earliest opportunity.\nReceives and examines all work orders to be done and determines scope and best way to accomplish workload and assign accordingly, ensuring safety work orders take precedence. Identifies and obtains materials required on the work orders and has prepared for assigned technician. \nDevelops and maintains planner reference systems (library) including a file of planned job packages for recurring jobs. Equipment and process specific labor and material information within the library are used to simplify the planning of new jobs.\nPerforms post job reviews to ensure actual work performed and post maintenance testing was adequate; identify changes needed to PM program (based on activity results) and/or changes to equipment design and/or inventory management practices to optimize the overall maintenance process. \nProvides Maintenance Manager with supporting reports of labor usage, parts and material usage, trending documentation, etc.\nEnsures food safety/quality polices are followed, report all food safety/quality problems out of his/her realm of responsibility to proper authority to initiate corrective actions. \nReports all unsafe acts and unsafe working conditions to supervision/management immediately. Promotes a safe working environment.\nSkills & Abilities\nPossess strong written, verbal and people skills.\nAbility to support the improvement of plant reliability and the move from reactive to proactive maintenance work.\nPossess strong organizational skills and analytical skills with proficiencies in data analysis and trend analysis.\nFast troubleshooting and resolution skills with ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.\nStrong understanding of OSHA safety practices and procedures.\nPossess a valid driver’s license. \nEducation\nAssociate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience\nStrong knowledge of CMMS systems and related systems/software.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook)\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nB&G Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
