The work is complex, fast-moving, and deeply connected to improving lives, creating opportunities for curious minds to make a real difference every day. \nIf you're energized by collaboration, inspired by innovation, and motivated by work that matters, you'll find a place to grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact at BGBx. \nPosition Overview \nAs an Associate Consultant, you’ll support commercial strategy consulting projects for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients across portfolio and asset strategy, brand and launch strategy, and commercial growth. \nResponsibilities \nConduct independent desk research into therapeutic areas, patient needs, competitors and markets \nSupport primary research through discussion guides, surveys, interviews and synthesis\nApply hypothesis-based problem-solving to structure client challenges and guide research and analysis \nUse approved AI tools to support research and analysis, checking outputs for accuracy \nAnalyze qualitative and quantitative evidence to generate insights and strategic implications \nCollaborate with data engineers and scientists to address client questions \nHelp prepare and facilitate client workshops, capturing decisions and next steps \nDevelop clear, visual client deliverables that tell a coherent story and translate findings into strategic recommendations\nOwn assigned tasks, manage deadlines and check work quality before review\nTake ownership of project timelines and day-to-day coordination, keeping deliverables on track, communicating dependencies, and flagging risks or delays early \nQualifications \nBA/BS required; MBA or Master’s in a related field preferred - life sciences, psychology, business, or a related field \n6 months-4 years' experience in a relevant space - this could mean healthcare consulting, research, pharma or biotech, medical comms, behavioral science, or academic with real-world application \nA strategic, curious and client-focused mindset, connecting evidence to client business objectives \nStrong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint \nInitiative, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with ownership of deadlines and work quality \nClear written and verbal communication and strong collaboration skills, with adaptability and emotional intelligence \nFamiliarity with AI tools for research and analysis, with the judgment to assess output accuracy and relevance \nWhy Join Us? \nSmall team energy, big company support-backed by BGB and Kx \nHigh-impact work, early responsibility-you’ll contribute from day one\nA learning-first culture-mentorship, peer support, and space to grow\nA genuinely fun, curious environment-we take the work seriously, not ourselves \nStrategy meets creativity-where insight, brand, and behavior collide \nA future-facing mission-everything we do aims to improve lives \n If you're ready to bring curiosity, strategy, and creativity together to reimagine healthcare-and make a real difference to people’s lives, let’s talk. \n Salary: $90,000 base plus bonus eligible \n BGBx is headquartered in New York City, and the salary range listed reflects the expected base compensation for this role in the New York metropolitan area.This position may be performed remotely within the United States.For candidates located outside the New York City area, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the applicable market for the employee’s primary work location.
