Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for safely transporting Club members from local schools to the Club using a 14- passenger bus.\nKEY DUTIES (Essential Job Responsibilities):\nPrepare Youth for Success:\nEstablish and maintain a SAFE environment to facilitate Youth Development Outcomes.\nPromote active participation while consistently implementing the five key elements for positive youth development:\nFun\nSupportive Relationships\nSafe and Positive Environment\nOpportunities\nExpectations and Recognition\nEnsure the physical and emotional health and safety of Club members at all times.\nAct as a role model and mentor, providing guidance, discipline, and positive reinforcement.\nMaintain cleanliness and functionality of facilities and equipment, promptly reporting significant issues. Maintain effective communication with all staff, supervisors, volunteers, and members.\nProgram Development and Implementation:\nPlan, implement, and supervise high-quality programs and activities for youth ages 6-18. Continuously monitor and evaluate programs for quality, safety, and member engagement.\nAssist branch staff in preparing activity reports and actively participate in weekly staff meetings for continuous program improvement.\nTransportation Duties:\nSafely transport Club members from assigned schools to Club locations in a timely manner. Adhere strictly to traffic and highway safety regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers.\nPerform thorough inspections of the bus before and after each route, documenting any concerns or necessary repairs and reporting to Branch Director.\nMaintain accurate records including:\nRoute sheets\nTimesheets\nIncident or accident reports\nEnsure the bus maintains a fuel level of at least a quarter tank before commencing each route.\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport the execution of special events and other Club activities as required. Assist in new member registration and orientation processes.\nUndertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.\nRELATIONSHIPS:\nInternal: Maintain daily communication with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisors to share information, address issues, provide guidance, and foster collaboration.\nExternal: Engage and communicate effectively with external community groups, local schools, parents, and stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance community relations.\nQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:\nHigh School diploma or GED\nMinimum five years of verifiable experience driving a 14-passenger vehicle\nValid driver’s license with a clean three-year driving record\nAbility to pass company-sponsored bus training courses\nPrevious experience working with youth\nFamiliarity with recent technologies and social media applications (TikTok, Class Dojo, Instagram)\nStrong knowledge of youth development principles\nProven ability to motivate youth and manage behavior\nEffective interpersonal skills for working with the youth, parents, the public and diverse communities\nExcellent organizational skills to plan and implement programs successfully\nCapability to work independently and as a part of a team\nMandatory CPR and First Aid Certification \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:\nAbility to speak, hear, and utilize a personal computer for standard business communication\nPhysically capable of lifting up to 15 lbs.\nAble to perform duties requiring prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and active engagement in youth activities and bus operation\nDISCLAIMER: The above description outlines general responsibilities and requirements for this position.
