BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.\nJob Description\nPrepares and produces maps and other graphic representations displaying layers and attribute data from database, using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data\nMaintains data layers, using GIS tools, GPS units, CAD tools and relational databases\nIncorporates maps, charts, spreadsheet data and text into reports\nPerforms field work to collect and/or validate GIS data using a GPS unit\nResolves and troubleshoots GIS-related problems\nProvides basic GIS software training for internal users\nDevelops production schedules for smaller mapping and analysis projects\nCommunicates with internal and external customers to align project deliverables with business objectives\nJob Qualifications and Requirements\n5+ years of work related experience\nProficient in ESRI ArcGIS suite of software\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office software\nEffective communication skills, both oral and written\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and potential clients\nSome of our Benefits:\n401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting\nMerit-Based Bonus Compensation\nMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans\n9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays\nPersonal Time Allowances \n2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
