We'relooking for someone with the experience and judgment to help drive the practice, not simply execute someone else's playbook. \nStay connected technically without needing to be the person performing every calculation or running every model. \nWork remotely within Florida while staying connected to clients and the broader team. \nTake on a role with significant visibility, responsibility, and opportunity for long-term growth. \nEarn a competitive $180,000-$250,000+ compensation package, depending on experience. \nWhat You'll Do \nYou'll lead the growth and delivery of our Florida transportation structures practice with a balance of people leadership, client development, business strategy, and technical oversight. \nBuild, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing transportation structuresteam. \nGrow relationships with FDOT, local agencies, teaming partners, and other transportation clients. \nIdentifyand pursue new opportunities, develop winning strategies, and strengthen our presence in the Florida market. \nProvide leadership and technical oversight for bridge and transportation structures projects. \nOversee project delivery while keeping an eye on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations. \nGuideprojects involving bridges, retainingwalls, culverts, sign structures, foundations, rehabilitation, and related transportation infrastructure. \nPartner with other disciplines and leaders across the company to pursue and deliver larger multidisciplinary opportunities. \nHelp recruit the next generation of the team and create an environment where good engineers want to stay and grow. \nWhat We're Looking For \nWe care more about finding the right leader than someone who checks every box. \nIdeally, you bring: \nA bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relateddiscipline. \nProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure, with a Florida PE or the ability to obtain one. \nSignificant experiencein bridge and transportation structures engineering, typically 12+ years. \nExperience delivering projects for FDOT or other state DOT/transportation agencies. \nA strong understanding of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and transportation structures design and delivery. \nExperience leading engineers, developing teams, and mentoring people. \nA track recordof building strong client relationships and helping win work. \nExperience managing projects from pursuit through final delivery. \nThe technical credibility to guide complex structural projects while empowering your team to execute the work. \nNice to Have, But Not Deal Breakers \nFlorida transportation and FDOT relationships \nDesign-Build project delivery \nBridge rehabilitation, inspection, or load rating \nConstruction engineering/support \nBentley/OpenBridgeor related bridge analysis and design platforms \nExperience building or growing a new team, office, service line, or practice \nThe Person We're Hoping to Find \nMaybe you're already a Structures Manager, Bridge Practice Leader, Department Manager, Principal, Senior Project Manager, or Regional Structures Leader. \nYou're successful where you are.
