We pride ourselves on our collaborative and inclusive culture, and on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service.\nPurpose of the Role\nBGIS is looking for an experienced Technical Asset Manager to look after asset performance, lifecycle planning and compliance across one of South East Queensland's largest healthcare precincts. As part of the Asset Management and Operations Team, you'll turn asset condition and performance data into clear recommendations that help keep critical hospital infrastructure safe, reliable and fit for the future.\nYou'll also be a trusted source of technical support for the operations team, working closely with the client to improve building performance, redundancy and long-term asset outcomes.\nThe ideal candidate is thoughtful, organised and collaborative, with deep facilities and asset management experience, a genuine interest in sound asset strategy, and the ability to explain technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee asset performance, lifecycle and compliance for in-scope assets across the portfolio.\nMake sure statutory, legal and contractual asset management obligations are met, and identify any compliance gaps.\nDeliver the asset maintenance management strategy, including the annual \"State of the Assets\" report.\nReview asset condition and performance data, and recommend maintenance regimes, replacements and lifecycle plans.\nReview critical infrastructure and advise the client on redundancy and plant replacement needs.\nProvide technical support to the operations team and guide investigations into building services issues.\nMonitor subcontractor performance against contract criteria and BGIS systems.\nDevelop asset management processes and systems in line with ISO 55000.\nCoordinate asset service budgets, monitor expenditure and support reforecasting.\nPrepare accurate monthly asset reports and build strong relationships with the client, contractors and consultants.\nMentor team members and stay across developments in healthcare asset management. \nEducation, Experience & Skills\nEssential:\nAt least 5 years' experience in the facilities management industry, including time at a senior level (all levels encouraged to apply)\nExperience managing a portfolio or multiple properties.\nExperience preparing written reports and recommendations for clients.\nExperience mentoring and developing staff.\nTrade or industry-recognised qualification relating to asset management and / or engineering\nKnowledge of building services and critical plant redundancy.\nDesirable:\nTertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.\nExperience in healthcare or other critical infrastructure environments.\nISO 55001 training.\nWorkplace Flexibility\nThis is a full time, permanent position based on-site in Southport, with direct access to public transport.
