This role will lead a team of analytics professionals while partnering closely with business leaders, Product, Technology, and Engineering to deliver analytics that drive measurable business impact.\nThe Director will design and operate the process for how the team solves business problems, establishing a repeatable operating model from business question to insight to decision. A major focus will be strengthening visualization and business intelligence through Power BI and AI-assisted tools, leading tactical solutions that form a cohesive strategy for delivering insights faster to produce, easier to consume, and more useful in decision-making. Equally important will be integrating analytics across Single-Family and Multifamily, bringing together historically separate teams, processes, and tools while maintaining strong support for each business.\nThis is a player-coach role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and working directly with data and analytical problems while also coaching, motivating, delegating, and empowering a high-performing team. The role requires strong business judgment, technical credibility, and exceptional stakeholder and relationship-building skills.\nEssential Job Functions\nFunctional Responsibilities\nLeverage AI and generative AI tools to accelerate analytics delivery, augment decision-making, and improve the speed, quality, and reach of insights across the platform.\nPartner with Product, Technology, and Engineering to deliver scalable analytical products and capabilities.\nRemain hands-on as needed, working directly in SQL, Python, Redshift, Power BI, and analytical models.\nApply predictive analytics, segmentation, forecasting, and other advanced techniques where they create meaningful business value.\nOperational / Departmental Support\nOwn and manage the analytics roadmap, balancing business priorities, resources, dependencies, and long-term strategic needs.\nLead the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting, and establish consistent standards for analytics, visualization, and KPIs across the platform.\nContinuously improve the efficiency, quality, adoption, and business impact of the analytics function.\n3. Compliance & Risk Management\nMaintain consistent definitions, visualization standards, and trusted KPIs across the U.S. Housing platform.\nMaintain appropriate analytical documentation and partner with Technology and Engineering on reliable data and reporting.\nIdentify data quality and analytics delivery risks and escalate material issues as appropriate.\n4. Financial / Performance Accountability\nPrioritize analytics work by measurable business impact, resource needs, and delivery dependencies.\nMonitor adoption, quality, timeliness, and business impact of Power BI dashboards and other analytical products.\nSupport efficient analytics delivery and responsible allocation of team resources.\n5. Leadership / Collaboration\nLead, coach, and develop the U.S. Housing analytics team across Single-Family and Multifamily, encouraging ownership, delegation, and empowerment.\nPartner with business stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, translate business questions into actionable solutions, and communicate priorities, recommendations, and tradeoffs effectively.\nDrive continued integration of Single-Family and Multifamily analytics teams, capabilities, and processes.\n6. Additional Responsibilities\nPerform other duties as assigned to support business objectives\nPerformance Expectations & Key Metrics:\nPerformance will be evaluated based on the following measures of success:\nAnalytics roadmap is clearly prioritized and aligned to business needs.\nStrong adoption and business impact of Power BI and other analytical products.\nMeaningful progress toward integration of Single-Family and Multifamily analytics capabilities.\nHigh-quality, trusted analytics delivered with appropriate speed and consistency.\nStrong stakeholder relationships and effective cross-functional execution.\nA motivated, capable, and increasingly autonomous analytics team.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience\n8-10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related field, including experience leading teams.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong experience with Power BI and data visualization.\nAdvanced SQL skills and experience working with Amazon Redshift or similar cloud data platforms.\nProficiency in Python for analysis, automation, and prototyping.\nWorking knowledge of predictive analytics, statistical modeling, forecasting, and segmentation.\nFamiliarity with AI and generative AI tools and their practical application to analytics delivery and decision-making.\nDemonstrated ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions and prioritize work based on business impact.\nStrong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with both technical and business stakeholders.\nExperience partnering across Product, Technology, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering teams.\nFamiliarity with Git, Agile development methodologies, and collaborative software development practices.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in real estate, asset management, financial services, or a related industry.\nWhy work for Maymont Homes?\nOur Mission - \"We Positively Impact the Lives in the Communities We Serve.\" Every role contributes to this purpose, helping families find a place to call home while making a difference in the communities we support.\nCertified Great Place to Work® - Our people make us who we are.
