This role ensures a clean, secure, and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and team members through timely completion of maintenance requests and proactive property upkeep. The technician serves as a key onsite representative, supporting resident satisfaction, retention, and operational excellence through responsive service and high-quality workmanship. This position requires strong technical maintenance skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced residential\nEssential Job Functions\n1. Functional Responsibilities\nPerform routine and preventive maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance tasks\nConduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns\nComplete work orders accurately and efficiently while minimizing disruption to residents\nRespond promptly and professionally to emergency maintenance requests\n2. Resident Experience\nServe as a primary onsite point of contact for resident maintenance issues and service requests\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with residents regarding work order status and resolution timelines\nCollaborate with onsite and centralized teams to ensure timely resolution of service requests\nBuild positive resident relationships to support satisfaction and retention\nMaintain courteous and service-oriented interactions at all times\n3. Property Upkeep\nMaintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, amenities, and exterior grounds\nAssist in unit turns including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and move-in readiness preparation\nEnsure tools, materials, and equipment are properly maintained and stored\nSupport overall community presentation standards and readiness\n4. Safety & Compliance\nFollow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations\nMaintain a safe working environment and report hazards or safety concerns immediately\nParticipate in required training and ongoing development programs\nEnsure compliance with maintenance standards and operational guidelines\n5. Additional Responsibilities\nAct as the onsite maintenance representative for assigned BTR community\nSupport training compliance and operational initiatives as assigned\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or leadership\nPerformance Expectations & Key Metrics:\nPerformance will be evaluated based on measurable outcomes aligned with company and departmental goals.
