Today, the Company owns and operates approximately 10M square feet across 18 states.\nPOSITION\nThe Senior Controller will report to the Senior Managing Director.\nLOCATION\nLos Angeles, CA\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nIncluding, but are not limited to:\nOversight of the Accounting staff, including direct supervision of the AP Manager, AR Manager and GL Manager.\nOversight of the monthly close process, and overall responsibility for financial statement preparation.\nOversight of the annual CAM reconciliation process and approval of final CAM recs.\nResponsible for coordinating the training of Accounting staff.\nResponsible for coordinating responses to both internal and external audits.\nResponsible for the maintenance and revision of Accounting policies and procedures.\nPerform administrative functions related to Yardi.\nAssist with the coordination of responses for information from our third party tax preparer, insurance broker, and property tax consultant.\nInitiate approved wire transfers for acquisitions and other purposes.\nVisit with the consultants in the Philippines twice a year.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nCPA license\nPublic accounting experience a plus\nBilingual in Tagalog preferred\nAt least 10 years of accounting experience required\nAt least 5 years of broad-based accounting for real estate experience\nAt least 5 years of active supervisory experience required\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nSolid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment\nMust possess strong work ethic\nMust be a team player\nYardi experience preferred\nCOMPENSATION\n$170K-$220K
