QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct API testing using Postman to validate backend services and APIs.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure application compatibility.
• Work closely with the automation team to identify suitable areas for test automation.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and defect reports.
• Provide UAT support and assist with production release validation.
• Contribute to improving overall QA processes, testing standards, and product quality.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual QA, with excellent understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including SDLC, STLC, and agile testing.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or qTest.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of mobile testing (Android and iOS) and usability testing best practices.
• Familiarity with QA automation and automation testing concepts; strong automation experience is not mandatory.
• Ability to identify test scenarios that can be automated and collaborate with automation teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
