This position supports proposal development, pursuit activities, marketing communications, events, and business development initiatives. Working alongside engineers and fellow marketing professionals, the Marketing Coordinator helps develop compelling marketing materials that strengthen client relationships and support the firm's continued growth. The Marketing Coordinator will help a variety of marketing and communication efforts, including but not limited to: \nCoordinate the development, production, and delivery of proposals, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), interview materials, presentations, and other pursuit-related marketing collateral\nMaintain and update staff resumes, project sheets, project descriptions, and other qualification materials to support pursuits and teaming opportunities.\nHelp develop proposal and marketing content by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation\nMaintain the firm’s CRM database by ensuring accurate project, client, and staff information to support marketing and pursuit efforts\nAssist with the planning and execution of company events, including tradeshows\nDevelop content for and help maintain social media accounts\nResearch and coordinate abstract and white paper submissions to industry-specific associations\nSupport special marketing initiatives and other department priorities as assigned\nWe require:\nBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.\nAt least three years professional experience in marketing or business development. (A/E/C Industry a plus)\nAdvanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Create Suite and social media management platforms preferred\nExceptional oral and written communication skills.\nWe like to see:\nLeaders who are highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects/people, meet tight deadlines and take direction in a high-performance environment.\nKnowledge and proficiency in Cosential.\nPhysical Demands\nThis position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25lbs may occur. Occasionally bending, squatting, and reaching overhead may also occur. Additionally, extensive computer usage is required daily.\nPosition Type and Schedule\nThis is a full-time, exempt position, with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. BHB offers flexible scheduling options, including five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday morning. While the start and end times of the workday can be adjusted, employees are expected to establish and maintain a consistent schedule which must encompass the core business hours of 9am - 4pm. Although overtime is not required, it is requested at times. Some marketing events may require a schedule outside of normal operation hours. This is anticipated to be a couple of times a year.\nTravel\nSome travel around the DFW metroplex can be expected monthly. Longer travel is also anticipated for conferences throughout Texas and surrounding states.
