Positions such as Sr. Project Manager, Project Surveyor and another segment Project Manager may be in\nyour future.\nQualifications\nEssential Functions\nDirects and manages overall project development from beginning to end\nDefines project scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and deliverables in collaboration with customers and the Project Manager 2 or Sr. Project Manager\nDevelops full-scale project work flows and appropriate communications documents\nEffectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion\nDetermines and assesses need for additional staff and/or consultants and assists with the appropriate recruitments if necessary\nduring the project cycle\nSets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders\nPlans, schedules and tracks project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools\nDevelops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations\nDetermines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas\nUtilizes various software in the performance of the work, learns software features, and applies them correctly for speed and efficiency\nDevelops understanding of city/county codes and their implications\nUtilizes various software to identify and access quality routing options\nOffers alternative solutions to design when efficacies can be gained, or cost savings can result\nProactively manages changes in project scope, communicates that to the customer, and seeks additional funding where appropriate\nIdentifies potential risks and devises contingency plans while keeping stakeholders informed\nDefines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project life cycle\nCoaches, mentors, motivates, and supervises project team members and subconsultants, and influences them to be proactive and take accountability for their assigned work\nConducts project reviews and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements as appropriate\nSubmits accurate and complete invoices and follows through for timely customer payment\nMaintains client relationships and establishes new ones through business development activities\nMay be assigned as a supervisor\nExperience\n6+ years of experience working on a variety of survey projects\nProven project management skills with foundational understanding of scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, and deliverable management\nDemonstrated project financial acumen\nAbility to charter and lead a highly interdependent team of individual contributors\nAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees\n10 years Survey, Computer/GIS/science or engineering background and/or experience preferred\nSkills\nOutstanding work ethic\nStrong computer skills, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nDesire to succeed and learn new skills\nStrong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written\nCommitment to excellence and high standards\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
