We value integrity and clear communication with our partners, and appreciate your understanding in this matter.\nThe role at a glance:\nThe Sr. Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing, monitoring, and improving the maintenance system and related performance. Retains proper documentation of all maintenance and calibration actions and ensures that preventive maintenance procedures and schedules are created and maintained. Uses root cause analysis to eliminate abnormal, repetitive failures.\nHow you’ll contribute:\nPerforms preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment to maximize useful life and minimize unplanned production downtime\n\nInspects, repairs, and performs calibration on all production equipment: surface mount machines, punch press, test equipment, power tools, etc.\n\nWorks with Production Supervisors to coordinate maintenance schedules. Tracks and reports on preventive maintenance and repairs\n\nOrganizes calibration schedules between equipment and tooling owners, and the external calibration provider\n\nImplements corrective actions to eliminate abnormal, recurring maintenance\n\nMaintains spare parts inventory and manufacturing maintenance tools\n\nSchedules and/or performs training for Maintenance Technicians due to on-boarding, new equipment, or improved methodologies\n\nInterfaces with various levels of management within the organization to understand priorities, report problems and status, and escalate issues as appropriate\n\nMonitors maintenance expenses to budget. Works on reducing cost of OEM, or comparable, spare parts and escalating to management when exceeding budget\n\nMonitors uptime and capacity of key facilities equipment, like compressors, Nitrogen generators, etc.\n\nOperates various machine shop tools and machinery in support of maintenance activities and production improvements\n\nAudits activities on other sites and provides guidance to mature their maintenance activities\n\nAssists in new equipment installations\n\nPerforms general housekeeping duties to keep equipment and machinery in new condition\n\nProduces effective written and oral information pass-downs between shifts\n\nTravels for equipment training and assisting in set-up of new sites\n\nInstalling compressed air lines from primary supply to point of use within the production cell\n\nParticipates on and fulfills solutions for the safety committee\n\nOther duties as assigned by your Supervisor\n\nA successful candidate should have:\nAssociates degree or 2 years in a technical training program\n\nMinimum 8 years’ work experience of maintaining production equipment\n\nExperience with hands-on maintenance and repair of PCBA and sheet metal equipment\n\nDemonstrated ability in technical problem solving, troubleshooting, and reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit diagrams\n\nCompetent in Microsoft Office applications, and proficient in Excel\n\nPossesses excellent verbal and written skills\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various departments\n\nAvailable to alternate schedules and work overtime as needed\n\nStrong customer service skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks\n\nMotivated with the ability to work with little daily supervision\n\nWork Environment:\nWarehouse environment\n\nMinimal travel: ~10%\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance\n\nStand or sit for long periods\n\nPerform tasks (that may be repetitive) that require reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking, stooping and/or bending\n\nWork in an environment that generates OSHA permissible machine noise levels\n\nUse tools that require fine hand skills\n\nVisually, observe and differentiate small moving parts\n\nAbility to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required in designated areas\n\nWhat we offer:\nMedical, Dental, and Vision\n\n3 weeks annual PTO and 9 paid holidays\n\n401(k) + matching\n\nEmployer-paid base life insurance, short, and long-term disability\n\nHealth savings accounts (with Biamp contribution) and flexible spending accounts\n\nTuition reimbursement\n\nCharitable donation matching\n\nDiscretionary company achievement bonus\n\nReferral bonuses\n\nWho is Biamp?\nWe make the world’s most extraordinary audio and video solutions.
