In this high-impact role, you willserve as the primary Operations representative and project leader for New Product Developmentand Introduction (NPD/NPI) programs, acting as the voice of Operations across cross-functionalprogram teams.\nYou will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Sales, andOperations stakeholders to ensure new products are developed, launched, and transitioned intomanufacturing with long-term, sustainable success. Whether manufacturing is in-house orsubcontracted, you will be the key relationship owner and driver of operational excellence.\nHow you’ll contribute:\nProgram Leadership & Execution\nLead and manage all Operations tasks and responsibilities across assigned NPI programsfrom inception through successful product launch\n\nEstablish clear Operations and Manufacturing objectives, delegate assignments, and mentorteam members to ensure program goals are met\n\nContribute to, monitor, and coordinate program activities across all Operations functions,ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to performance requirements\n\nManage multiple concurrent technology products from concept through release\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Communication\nRepresent all Operations departments, including Production, Sourcing, Planning,Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Warehousing, and Customer Service inprogram meetings and activities\n\nCommunicate Design for Manufacturability (DFM), testability, and serviceability requirementsback to design teams within appropriate timeframes\n\nBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with internal stakeholders, key suppliers,and external development partners\n\nRisk Management & Reporting\nTrack and report program progress against launch milestones, proactively surfacing blockers,schedule risks, and challenges\n\nEnsure risks are transparent to the organization and are owned or mitigated by the appropriateindividuals and teams\n\nSupplier & Partner Management\nIdentify, vet, and manage new and existing suppliers; lead negotiations and engagements withexternal manufacturers and development partners\n\nConduct supplier meetings and manage supplier progress relative to new product timelines\n\nDesign for Operations\nDrive and contribute to product design considerations for manufacturability, testability,serviceability and operational efficiency from project inception through production\n\nA successful candidate should have:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field\n\nMinimum 10 years of experience in a combination of Operations, Engineering, and/or ProgramManagement roles\n\nDemonstrated experience developing, producing, or supporting electronic and/or electromechanicalproducts, subassemblies, and components\n\nProven ability to influence and drive change across all levels of an organization without directpositional authority\n\nExceptional decision-making, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills\n\nNatural problem-solver with strong business acumen and a collaborative leadership style\n\nComfortable communicating and presenting up to the Executive level\n\nBroad knowledge of Operations functions: planning, supply chain, PCBA and product assembly,quality, warehousing, distribution, customer care, and reverse logistics\n\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems and material planning functions\n\nFamiliarity with Lean Six Sigma manufacturing principles\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and growing organization\n\nWork Environment:\nAmount of Travel: \n\nWhatweoffer:\nMedical, Dental, and Vision\n\n3 weeks annual PTO and 9 paid holidays\n\n401(k) + matching\n\nEmployer-paid base life insurance, short, and long-term disability\n\nHealth savings accounts (with Biamp contribution) and flexible spending accounts\n\nTuition reimbursement\n\nCharitable donation matching\n\nDiscretionary company achievement bonus\n\nReferral bonuses\n\nWho is Biamp?\nWe make the world’s most extraordinary audio and video solutions.
