At BIC World, you are empowered to take ownership of your career and use your unique perspective to make a meaningful, global impact on our mission.\nThe Accountant, Accounts Payable ensures the respect of the closing deadline and also maintains the optimum quality level on the Accounts payable accounting for entities under responsibility.\nAccountable for the effective delivery of Accounts Payable processes, data accuracy in line with established SLAs for the Finance function.\nContribute to the processing of accounts payable invoices on a timely manner, respect payment terms and avoid late payments\nProduction of accurate financial statements and reports; ensure accurate cutoffs, timely account reconciliation and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage the delivery of Accounts Payable Services under scope/ responsibility:\n\n-Master data maintenance: suppliers, employees, invoices processing system (eg. Comarch, OCR & ECM)\n-Relation with supplier & ECM users\n-AP Invoices processing (Receipt document, scan, verify until the validation & booking in JDE)\n-Invoice receipt (eg. system OCR)\n-Invoice verification and posting (eg system ECM): regular invoices, back margin, intercompany, advance payments, manufacturer sub-contractors (OEM), blocked invoices / disagreements.\n-Closing and reporting: closing preparation, closing (accounts reconciliation, integrity checks, accrued invoices reconciliation, advance payments reconciliation, ageing balance reconciliation), intercompany reconciliation, control of double payments.\n-Respect payments terms / avoid late payments\nRespect closing deadlines and quality level\n\nDeliver to agreed SLA’s regarding time and accuracy\n\nImplement appropriately GBS Accounts Payable policies and procedures\n\nKnowledge, skillsand experience:\nAccounting Degree\n\nMinimum 3 years in a similar function\n\nComfortable with IT environment (Excel and Word)\n\nTeamwork spirit\n\nGood communication\n\nEnglish language imperative (additional language is a plus or may be required)\n\nHands-on\n\nMeticulousness\n\nRespect deadlines\n\nCapacity for adaptation\n\nProfessional confidentiality\n\nBIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
