At BIC World, you are empowered to take ownership of your career and use your unique perspective to make a meaningful, global impact on our mission.\nAs Production Shift Supervisor, you will be a member of the Production team, ensuring the smooth operation of Production Department, to best meet production needs within the predefined time and quality requirements.\nMain Responsibilities/Tasks:\nActs in the most effective, efficient, and safest manner and according to the principles of BIC to:\nEnsure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift\n\nContribute to quality assurance projects/ processes/ instructions by performing all duties/ actions indicated in them\n\nEnsure compliance with company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures\n\nContribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area\n\nContribute to continuous improvement efforts\n\nEnsure and per case deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specific, One-point lessons (OPLs)\n\nReport daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on the KPIs\n\nCollaborate with other department's supervisors and manage his/her team members (holidays, absenteeism, replacement etc.)\n\nTo check compliance with health, safety and environmental rules at work by team members under their supervision, in accordance with company ‘s policy and prescribed procedures\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering)\n\n2 - 3 years of working experience in a similar position is required in manufacturing or industrial setting\n\nAbility to work in 3 shifts\n\nOther Skills\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and set priorities\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills\n\nTeam-player\n\nPeople management experience\nBIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
