So, you can take on whatever tangles life throws your way.\nThe role\nAs our Supply Planner, you’ll take the lead in ensuring our production plans are seamless, efficient, and ready to meet global demand. You’ll work on a specific manufacturing site, balancing inventory requirements and demand forecasts to keep everything running smoothly. By optimizing capacity, aligning production schedules with key warehouse delivery dates and shipping deadlines, and staying in step with the priorities set by our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll help ensure our products reach our customers on time while keeping operations as efficient as possible.\nIn this role you’ll get to:\nWork closely with Sales Teams and Demand Planning to create a rolling 3-month confirmed Production Plan by SKU for multiple production sites, aligning with forecasts and desired stockholding positions. \nPresent recommendations for stockholding positions, identifying, communicating, and addressing situations where stocks are too high or too low. \nManage long-term planning requirements and complete all planning and inventory reports on time and in full. \nDevelop an 18-month rolling plan at the Product Group level, accounting for production frequency of slower-moving lines. \nCollaborate with production suppliers to optimize production schedules by grouping colours and product groups, ensuring efficiencies and maximizing outputs. \nEnsure production running schedules align with critical monthly shipping cut-off dates. \nProvide day-to-day visibility of production expectations to support sales order fulfilment. \nLead production calls with manufacturers, addressing potential issues and communicating any foreseen changes to the plan. \nOversee component management by partnering with the Component Planner to ensure all ‘free-issue’ components are available on time at manufacturing sites. \nDefine stock allocations for high-demand Product Groups/SKUs with restricted inventory volumes, in collaboration with Sales Teams. \nUtilise inventory reports from the Masterdata Coordinator to manage inventory levels at warehouse locations, ensuring they remain within agreed targets, and taking immediate action to address exceptions. \nCreate monthly S&OP slides to analyse performance and exceptions for capacity, supply, and impacts on working capital budgets, supporting strategic decision-making and priority setting. \nIdentify slow-moving or obsolete lines for Finished Goods & Component Stocks in collaboration with the Component Planner, assessing Slow Moving & Obsoletes (SLOBs) and supporting manufacturing policy decisions. \nWhat we are looking for in you:\nAt least three years of experience in Supply & Production Planning, working within retail or distributor sectors \nKnowledge of plastic injection moulding is preferred but not essential. \nProficiency in Excel and strong data analytics skills. \nExperience with MS Office, Dynamics Navision software, and MRP and S&OP processes is highly desirable. \nExceptional attention to detail, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work independently, with accountability and excellent time management skills. \nA proactive approach, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and improve processes.\nWe know that imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t tick everything on the list - we’d love to hear from you!\nWhat it means to be part of Tangle Teezer:\nAt Tangle Teezer, being part of our PAC means being Proud, Authentic, and Championing each other every day.\nProud: We are passionately proud to do things differently, so we perform brilliantly-just like our hair tools.\nAuthentic: We welcome everyone as they are, we bring our true selves to work and show up as who we want to be.\nChampion: We are champions of one another, our brand, and our environment.\nJoin us and embrace these values to help create, innovate, and deliver products that people love-together.
