At BIC World, you are empowered to take ownership of your career and use your unique perspective to make a meaningful, global impact on our mission.\nJob Functions:\nReceive direction from Department Lead on Priorities of Work\n\nStage Orders so they are ready when the team arrives to go over work orders\n\nEnsure all product needed to run the order is at the line\n\nCall floor runners for set up of red cans for lighter tray disposal\n\nMaintain the speed of the machine\n\nConfirm that RDID and blisters are running before team arrives at line\n\nAssist with building displays with team\n\nReview partial orders, put-away product, and scrap at the end of the shift and ensure that all are allocated for proper next steps and/or disposal\n\nCommunicate with Shift Assistant when the machines are ready for plug/tool changes and when lines are set-up ready for the production team\n\nAssist with place cards and work with the maintenance team during plug and tool changes\n\nAs needed, assist the team wherever is needed\n\nThis position is for 2nd shift (starting around 2h15 pm and finishing around 10h15 pm)\nQualifications:\nHS Diploma / GED\n\nAvailable to work OT, various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed\n\nStrong work ethic and sense of urgency\n\nBe able to lead a team of production team members\n\nGood communication skills - both verbal and written\n\nAbility to work in a team-based environment\n\nAbility to display attention to detail\n\nHave knowledge of general safety polices and process\n\nPrevious work experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment\n\nBIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
