At BIC World, you are empowered to take ownership of your career and use your unique perspective to make a meaningful, global impact on our mission.\nResponsible for operating all types of equipment - including, but not limited to, forklifts and RF Scanners - for the purpose of performing various duties such as consolidation, replenishment, pallet picking, put away, and other production-, shipping-, inventory- and receiving-related functions with direction from the Warehouse Supervisor.\nMain Responsibilities:\nUnderstand and follow system designated direction by RF to ensure accurate selection and movement of product.\n\nUtilize RF equipment, accurate/damage-free movement of pallets and cases from reserve and forward pick locations in accordance with production standards.\n\nAccurately scan pallets to the correct warehouse location as system directed or locate pallets through the manual location option.\n\nIdentify, locate, and disburse product\n\nPull and assemble orders for shipment to customers\n\nUnload incoming materials from trucks and allocate in warehouse as directed\n\nProvide feedback to warehouse supervisor on matters concerning warehouse operations and recommend measures to improve work methods\n\nRetain knowledge of account requirements to prevent the occurrence of compliance failures.\n\nUse all warehouse equipment/tools properly to increase productivity, efficiency, safety, and report any unsafe conditions/equipment or injury to warehouse supervisors.\n\nMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment. This includes restrooms, break rooms, and equipment. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.\n\nAssist in training of new employees.\n\nAdhere to all warehouse SOPs.\n\nAny other duties as may be assigned.\n\nRequirements\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules including safe operation of equipment.\n\nAdhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive but not limited to OSHA, DOT, and EEOC.\n\nAttend and participate in operational meetings as required.\n\nMaintain business confidentiality relative to picking, promotions, distribution methods, inventory, customer lists and financial reports.\n\nAbility to read, count, write, and perform simple math calculations\n\nResponsible for the careful handling of all products, avoiding damage of any type.\n\nAbility to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectives.\n\nWork requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.\n\nWhile performing duties of this job, employee will regularly stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and get on and off equipment repeatedly throughout the shift.\n\nThis role will work on second shift\nQualifications\nHigh School diploma / GED\n\nMinimum of one (1) year of related experience in a warehouse environment.\n\nStrong work ethic and sense of urgency\n\nWillingness to become certified in the operation of various types of warehouse equipment, including a forklift\n\nGood oral and written communication skills; bi-lingual preferred.\n\nAvailable to work OT, various shifts, weekends, and holidays.\n\nAbility to become certified in Hazardous Material handling\n\nAble to work with, create, and change SOPs for process and quality improvements\n\nWorking knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems\n\nAbility to work as part of a team\n\nBIC World is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
