This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage operational matters, risk controls, and provide financial oversight for the entities in Thailand. Reporting/Controlling/Tax:Update financial records in systems like QuickBooks and Excel.\nPrepare monthly reports for submission to Tagetik by business unit, including variance analysis and trend analysis. Ensure records in financial system (ie QuickBooks) reconcile with that in Tagetik. This role includes the comprehensive responsibility for all data entries into the Tagetik system.\nOversee all financial accounts, ensuring compliance with local accounting principles (GAAP).\nHandle tax compliance for the entities in Thailand, including annual tax filing, transfer pricing, and withholding tax filing.\nManage the annual audit process, liaising with auditors to complete the audit package for Germany.\nServe as the main point of contact for all accounting, tax, and risk matters with the Regional HQ and Germany HQ.\n\nReceivables Management:Assign messengers to collect cheques from customers and submit billing documents for new invoices.\nFollow up with customers and sales for credit management processing. \nCredit insurance\nSubmit documents to external accounting firm Roedl for payment recording and collection of other expenses from suppliers and forwarders.\n\nFollow-up and Receivables:Follow up on payments from due customers, coordinating cheque collection schedules.\nUpdate received payments in the system using QuickBooks, BBL, and HSBC statements.\n\nRisk Controlling:Provide guidance on internal controls to enhance governance.\nEnsure compliance with corporate and regional policies and procedures.\nMaintain all necessary insurance policies for the entities.\n\nOperational Matters & Budget:Liaise with banks or Corporate Treasury for establishment of credit facilities\nCompile and submit sales and working capital reports for submission to Germany and upload into Qilkview.\nCollaborate with the commercial department to prepare the annual budget and forecast.\nWork with commercial departments on various projects, such as commercial investment feasibility and ERP implementation.\nMaintenance of Master Data\n\nCorporate/Legal Secretary Responsibilities:Corporate Governance: Assist in maintaining corporate records, preparing board meeting minutes, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.\nLegal Documentation: Manage the filing and documentation of corporate legal documents, including licenses, permits, and regulatory filings.\nLiaison: Serve as the point of contact for legal matters, coordinating with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.\n\n Additional Responsibilities:Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax agents\n\nYour profile\n5-7 years of experience in financial statement preparation and closing.\nStrong knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).\nExperience with multinational companies is an advantage.\nProficiency in English, both written and spoken.\nCertified Accountant preferred.\nOur Offer\nAt Biesterfeld International Thailand Ltd, we offer more than just a job-we provide a rewarding career in a globally recognized, family-owned company.
